Value Of A Soul

Sometimes in life we have the tendency to feel insignificant and unloved. It is always nice to be reminded of the great love God has for us all. The fact is we are precious and valuable to The Lord. He proved his love so powerfully in the giving of Jesus Christ to the world. Christ experienced immense suffering to purchase our liberty. As we walk into the acceptance and grace the Fathers has for us, our eyes can began to see more clearly how much God cares about and values everyone. He calls us to respond and release this same love to others.

Value Of A Soul is a song written by myself and Bruce Patterson it is part of my soon to be released Latter Rain recording project. I pray this song will be instrumental in a fresh new understanding and  appreciation of the love of God for all people.

What does it matter to the Lord of us all

Creator of heaven and earth

When He looks down at one made in His own image

Greater than the sparrow that falls

He sees the value of a soul beyond the worlds treasures

Measured by the blood Jesus shed

Though it be wrecked and marred

There is healing by His scars

He showed us the value of a soul

If you think your life doesn't mean much any more

Just think what you mean to the Lord

If you were the only one, He would have still died for you

You were worth all that He went through

For you are a pearl of great price

That He sought after and bought with His life

Yes you are precious in His sight

See the love that He has shown to you
