visiting Rakvere Church.

We had great time visiting Rakvere Baptist Church and pastor Gunnar Kotiesen. 

This church is full of young people and families with kids. 

They are also in a building program right now, where they are in the middle of building a new church building.

Kris preached about being a Kingdom Builder. 

ministry in Lasnamäe

Yesterday we were ministering at a small church in Lasnamäe , which is suburb of Tallinn. It is mostly Russian speaking area of town. In our meeting we had about half Russians and half Estonians. Kris preached in English and we had 2 translators this time… one translated into Estonian and one into Russian. Kris and pastor Jaana also sang in Estonian, English and Russian.  There were not many people at the meeting, but one precious elderly woman gave her life to Jesus and asked Him to be her Lord! Praise God! 

Raili was not able to translate or sing, because she had lost her voice. 

Please pray for her speedy recovery!

Ministering at Paide Baptist Church

We had good meeting at Paide Baptist Church. Paide is the city Raili was born and raised and lived there until moving to Nashville in 1995. Raili's grandmother used to go that church and even brought Raili along few times when she was a child. The current pastors even remember her grandmother. She used be bi-lingual, so she used to translate from Estonian into Russian for the Russian speaking people at the church. And now... Raili is translating from English into Estonian there... Interesting! Whenever I (Raili) read the scripture about the great cloud of witnesses cheering us on, I always think of my grandmother in heaven. We had a wonderful service at the church there, where we the pastors are our dear friends and we have several other friends there as well. We were leading worship with their team. We chose some older songs to sing so that the congregation could sing along easily and then we also chose couple of newer songs. (Way Maker and Worthy of it all.) The pastors wife said, they have been wanting to learn those songs with their worship team, but did not have anybody to teach them really. So, she was very happy that we picked those songs and sang it with them, now they learned them too! There was a wonderful presence of the Lord at the meeting, as people were worshipping along. At the end of service, we also prayed for several people. One young lady needed deliverance from depression and anxiety. She was in tears when Kris prayed for her. Later she testified, she was touched by the Lord and feels very different and totally free. Praise God!

Birthday Party and prayer gathering.

Today we had a wonderful evening at our friends Paul and Evi’s farmhouse. We were having a Birthday party for 2 of the ladies. One turned 61 and one 75. We grilled some meat, ate some salads and lots of good cakes! 

The weather was nice and we enjoyed the beautiful countryside of Estonia.

After eating we gathered in the house for prayer and worship. It was a great evening with our friends in Estonia.

We are having great time here in Estonia! 

We took a little walk by the sea yesterday. The scenery was beautiful, even if it was little cold. About 52 degrees only.

(It's right across for Donelson Post Office) We will have an evening full of music and worship,also some preaching and we will share little bit about our ministry as well. This will be our 25th year of ministry to Estonia. We started our ministry together in 1996. WE will have some mucical guests there this time. David Jolley on guitar ( he has played guitar for many years on General Jackson show boat and also has played with many famous country artists)
