time to go

 It's time to go again!

We are getting ready to leave for another trip to Estonia! This year will be our 25th year in ministry!

We will be there for 5 months this time. From April 30th to October 1st.

We were not able to go there last year, because of covid 19.

We own an apartment in Viljandi, Estonia, which is our home town. We also do a lot of ministry in Tallinn, the capital city. We plan on renting a place there for the summer as well. We believe the Lord has some good things in store for us for this year in Estonia.

This picture was taken in Viljandi Baptist Church last time we were there, in 2019, preaching, singing, leading worship at that meeting. Looking forward to new ministry opportunities again.

Many blessings to you all!

Kris and Raili

Our family last summer

Ministering in Fire Church, in Tallinn, Estonia.
Dear Friend in Christ,

Once again we are planning to return to Estonia.  We plan on leaving May 17h and returning the end of August.

There are excellent opportunities for us to minister in Estonia and Finland. Churches want us to come back and minister to their people.  We are thrilled to have the opportunities to preach, teach, worship and do special music at different meetings. Over the last several years we have been experiencing a strong move of the Spirit as we work with the Body Christ and we are praying that this continues to move forward.

This is a very special trip for us because this summer we are celebrating our 20 year anniversary of doing mission work in Estonia! We are very thankful to God and his faithfulness for helping us accomplish many things through this ministry. When I think about all the different things we have been involved in during this time I am humbled by God’s exceeding grace helping us do this work. The main themes of our ministry have been sharing the Word and Spirit Of God through meetings, media and music.  It is our desire to keep running this race and be even more effective in the vision of impacting this part of the world for Christ.

This is our second year to live in the capital city of Tallinn. We have made some new friends and ministry connections in that city and we do travel around Estonia as well.

Last few years we have been also ministering in Finland and have made some good ministry contacts there. We do wish to keep visiting the churches there as well.

Estonia 2014

We are right in the middle of our trip now. Have been in Estonia for 2 months and a week.

It's been interesting and challenging in many ways. But very rewarding at the same time!

When we first come from America, there is always a short period of adjusting to another country.
Thankfully, we have been here many times before, so we kind of know the routine.

But the first time you get to see your friends and family after long period of time is such a great and joyous event! There is truth in the saying, Distance makes the heart grow fonder.
Also, we enjoy going to the store and buying good Estonian food, which we do not have in America!
Raili especially misses some things, when in the States.

Estonia is very beautiful in spring and summer! Very green, beautiful nature. We live in the city of Viljandi , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viljandi
it is a very accessible community with most points of interest in walking distance.
Right behind our apartment building  is the hillside view of the beautiful Viljandi lake.

We have been praying for spiritual needs of this place for many years. And a new church that some friends of ours started has some very good momentum. It has been a real blessing to have had  the opportunity to be ministering in some of their services. Our hearts our very thankful for the faithfulness of God in  raising up this church. Some of the people from this church were recently baptized with our son Ryan, this was a very joyous event.

As soon as we got here, (actually already before , over the internet) we were invited to help with worship at some special meetings in capital city of Tallinn.

We are working with pastors Mati and Saima Kurrik , and their church. They hold special revival meetings in Tallinn, and they need worship leaders from time to time for these meetings.
We have been helping them about every couple weeks. Some of the meetings have been absolutely wonderful seeing the Lord pour out His Glory in some great ways. People have been coming to faith in Christ with testimonies of healings and victories as well. It has been in my heart for many years to be apart of revival meetings so this has been especially rewarding. During the worship we usually do
some of my original music in English and Estonian. The song's Revival Times and the Lord Is Here have been well received by the people, Praise God !
The people that have been coming to the meetings , really have been entering in to the worship and the ministry.  We will resume with these  meetings in a few days and are believing for great things.
Raili is also translating at the revival meetings.
One of the minister 's who we recently met, is Juennine Fox from USA. She is having meetings in Finland and Estonia this summer and the Lord had us to be part of her meetings.
We have been blessed by her ministry and it has been a privilege to lead worship at her meetings and for Raili to translate her.
Here is a short video with pictures of her meetings.

And here are few pictures as well.

with Juennine Fox before meeting
While not in Tallinn, at the revival meetings, we have been visiting other churches around Estonia  and ministered at some of them.
Here is a picture of us preaching at Türi Missions Church, that is our long time friend. Our ministry was well received. Praise God!

Missions trip to Estonia, April 2014!

Dear, Friend!
Once again we are returning to Estonia.  We are leaving on April 15th and returning on August 30th!

Our last trip to Estonia was 2011 -2012 for almost a year. During that time we were mostly traveling ministers to different churches all over the nation, sharing the Word and ministering in music. Also, we were part of a smaller fellowship in our home town.

There are many opportunities for us to minister in Estonia and we believe the Lord is opening even more doors for us there. Several churches have asked us to come back and minister at their services. We like to preach, teach, worship and do special music at our meetings.

We want to bring encouragement to the Body of Christ in Estonia.
The Lord also gave us a new assignment to exercise the believer's autohority in Estonia to keep the land free from rising political predators. We go in Jesus name to accomplish this mission.

We have a good relationship with a Christian TV station in Estonia, called Life TV. Raili is translating Joyce Meyer programs for them for two and a half years. We have always had TV ministry in our hearts and we want to pursue it further. We want to start doing some programs with them. Perhaps some weekly or daily devotionals.

We have a big vision for reaching Estonia and Europe for Christ. It is time to move ahead with the calling that we have carried for 18 years. I believe the next few years will be very fruitful in our ministry.

We do ask for your prayers and support for our ministry. This is a very critical hour for Estonia and we need all the friend's of this ministry to stand with us in accomplishing the goals of the trip.

Please consider giving a one time gift or supporting monthly through the end of August.
Thank you so much!

God bless you abundantly!

Alan Jackson - "I Love To Tell The Story"

I Love To Tell The Story

I am inspired from time to time when I revisit some of the old hymns. What griped my heart today was " I loved To Tell The Story" Alan Jackson has my favorite version of this classic. The hymn evolved from an old poem by Katherine Hankey who was born in 1834, . She began organizing bible classes for girls who worked in factories throughout London. While  recovering from a illness she wrote the verses that became the text for this classic hymn.

I love to tell the story of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love;
I love to tell the story, because I know ’tis true,
It satisfies my longings as nothing else would do.

Refrain:
I love to tell the story,
’Twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story
Of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story, more wonderful it seems
Than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams;
I love to tell the story, it did so much for me,
And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.

I love to tell the story, ’tis pleasant to repeat,
What seems each time I tell it more wonderfully sweet;
I love to tell the story, for some have never heard
The message of salvation from God’s own holy Word.

I love to tell the story, for those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest;
And when in scenes of glory I sing the new, new song,
’Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.

This is passionate song written by a woman who in her life was passionate about sharing the message
of Christ. It hit me pretty hard today all believers should have this same heart. I was reading through some passages from the bible that declare Messiah's supernatural virgin birth and one of a kind amazing life, Jesus is truly Alpha and Omega the half of his greatness and glory has not been told.

We must tell His story for the same reason that compelled Katherine Hankey.
I love to tell the story, it did so much for me,
And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.

I believe we should start a revolution of the heart. Let this glorious message of the gospel so resonate in us that we live, share and sing the greatest of all stories.
