In the book of Hebrews it declares that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. One of the greatest challenges we have in life is to stay in faith and keep fear from strangling and paralyzing us.
As we receive the Word Of God into our heart faith comes and fear is dispelled. There are over 365 scriptures that encourage and command us to Fear Not. If we continue to feed our faith on the Word our heart will be established in the reality of God being greater than our problems and well able to always cause us to triumph.
In order for God's word to be fruitful in our life's in needs to be in our heart and coming out of our mouth. Believe His word speak it and fear will leave and faith will be activated in your life.
It all starts with knowing the Word for yourself. It must be the number one priority for it to be affective. Jesus said in the world we would have tribulation but He also gives us the great encouragement to be of good cheer because He has over come the world. 1John 5:4 declares
This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Listed below are some classic Fear Not scriptures I pray they will be an encouragement to your faith.
Isaiah 41:10 'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I
am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I
will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Johua 1:9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not
afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you
wherever you go
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort
me.
Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear? The
LORD is the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 46:2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

Yesterday I was in the Deals store and there was a pack of raisins right up front, where the gum is. I guess someone had not wanted it and left it there. But...I just needed a pack of them, because I was planning making bread pudding...And I forgot to buy them, because I was with Ryan who is hard to deal with in the store sometimes...But there it was a pack of raisins that I needed...!
I asked the clerk, who was a tall black guy, Is this a Dollar also? ( most of the things in that store are 1 Dollar) And he told me : If you are good! And that made me laugh and I gave him the biggest fake smile, showing that I am good... But that kinda made my day, because I had been way too serious and not smiling at all that day. It takes a clerk in the store to lighten me up a little bit...
The contrast here is, that usually the store clerks in Estonia can be really rude or not very pleasant at all. You are glad if you go to the store and will not be upset by something there. Like one time I dropped a jar of soup, while putting it on the counter. Then the clerk said, you need to pay for it ! And there have been other things like that. Maybe some other time I can share more of my experiences there...
But it is good to live in a free country, where people are free, smiling, making jokes and are happy.
Not everyone of course, but at least good persentage of them!
Blessings!

The Message Of The Cross
The cross is
a symbol that is seen by many every day in churches, cemeteries,
artwork, and various other places. Have you ever thought of what the
meaning of the cross really is? There is a powerful message in the
cross, let's take a look at this wonderful truth.
Most people
have heard that Jesus died on the cross. Ancient history reveals this
as an established fact. But why did Jesus die on the cross? The Bible
tells us that Jesus was falsely accused and delivered to be crucified
because the religious leaders of his day were jealous of him. These
men did not like the fact that multitudes of people were following
Jesus. They felt threatened they would lose their position and
influence. Though Jesus was preforming amazing miracles and
teaching with great authority, they rejected him. They
orchestrated a false trial and used their influence to have him
crucified, even though the Roman governor Pilate could find no fault
in him.
The Bible
tells us that this was all part of God's plan for Jesus to go to the
cross. Jesus lived a sinless life and died an agonizing death of
crucifixion as an innocent man. As Jesus was dying, he was
fulfilling God's plan to be our savior. He
was accomplishing something for all people.
Amazing
Love seen at the cross
Through him God was showing us his amazing love by
allowing Jesus to be a substitute for us all. Jesus was paying the
penalty for all our sins, all the things that make us guilty before
God. What Jesus accomplished for us has opened the way for us to be
made right with God. The sacrifice of the blood of Jesus has provided
access for us to the presence of God.
The cross is a symbol of the love of God. It
represents the sacrifice of the Son Of God Jesus Christ for the
world. It forever proclaims that though hopeless and insufficient in
ourselves God gave us the ultimate gift of Jesus so we could be made
right with Him and have eternal life.
John
3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
The
cross is a message of Peace
We
can have peace with God and be in complete harmony with our creator
through receiving what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross. What
heavenly rest to be at peace with God knowing you are not condemned.
Romans
8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for
those who are in Christ Jesus,
God's
Bridge: The Cross
The cross is a bridge of hope that
crosses the gulf of sin that separated God from man.
Jesus Christ died on
the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin
and bridged the gap between God and people.
The Bible says...
"For there is one
God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ."
1 Timothy 2:5
"For Christ died for
sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to
God." 1 Peter 3:18
There is a bridge that
brings us to The Fathers House with all the goodness blessings and
glory God wants us share with us forever. Though the bridge must be
crossed to arrive at that destination. I pray that your eyes would be
open to see the depth of God's love that the cross reveals to us. God
gave His best Jesus to suffer and die in our place so we could be
part of His family. Jesus willingly offered His life for us all,
suffering the penalty of our sin and shame in our place so we could
cross the bridge and Know the Father and become a new creation in
Christ.
So the next time you see a
cross remember you are loved, you can have peace and go across the
bridge of hope to the Father's House.

Update From Estonia
The ice is melting on Viljandi lake, and temperatures are nearly getting to 50 degrees Fahrenheit on warm days now. We are thankful to have gotten safely through the blizzard on our trip to Tallinn on Easter Sunday. I would say spring really starts in May here and that probably was the last significant snow (thank God). It has been a very long, cold, and snowy winter. The days here have already started getting longer, with the sun setting after 9 pm. It is the season to move about Estonia and be active in building the Kingdom Of God.
We have a lot going on now in our work here and are launching out into new areas of ministry.
Our Easter trip to Tallinn was to Grace Chapel, where I have been asked to help as a teaching pastor. The church has a great centrally located meeting facility in the city center. There is a nice faithful core group, and we believe this fellowship has great potential to impact Estonia for Christ. This is a international church and Estonians are attending as well.
Over the last year, new doors of ministry have opened up for us in the capital city of Tallinn. We have been involved in several meeting there with people who are hungry for God. A big part of our vision is to be a part of seeing a fresh move of the Spirit to change this nation. It is important to fan these flames of revival and continue to have and be a part of more services that facilitate the move of the Spirit. At the same time teaching the Word and laying a solid biblical foundation. Because we need a movement of the Word and Spirit working together to see the glorious things the Father has in store.
In our home town of Viljandi we have been helping a young couple, Veiko and Kirsika, start a new church. Veiko is a great piano player and it has been a real blessing worshiping together at these and other services. Our community has a very small percentage of believers and is need of a real move of God.
We are planning to have our first Spread the Fire Worship Meeting this spring for the Viljandi region of Estonia. It will be held at the new Viljandi Baptist Church building and several churches will be a part of this gathering. Prayer point: that there would be unity and that the spiritual atmosphere would change for the good.
A Great Harvest Field
During the winter Raili and I got caught in a snow storm and needed to spend the night in Tallinn. Our friend Jaana's place was available, but the catch was she lived in Lasnamäe.
I always heard this was a rough place and you better be careful if you find yourself there. Since we almost had a bad car accident that day, I thought it might be worth the risk lodging there for the night.
Jaana had been after us to be a part of the services that she and her husband Ahto had been having in Lasnamäe. Though Ahto had been working in Finland a lot (like many Estonian men do) and was not always there to help. The night we arrived there was a home fellowship so we were able to be a part of that. As we stayed there that night the Lord began to do surgery on my heart about this place. This bedroom community of Tallinn is the most populated community in Estonia. 116 thousand people live there. It is almost entirely the old soviet style apartment houses in close proximity of each other. In talking with Jaana that night we discovered that the small meetings they were having were the only evangelical work they knew of being done in this large community. Since that time I have preached twice at their Sunday meetings and the people were open responding to the gospel . Their ministry also distributes humanitarian aid and recently opened a second hand store that helps keep them visible with the people.
Ministry in Lasnamäe.
The need in this place hit me like a ton of bricks, I began to hear some of the desperate stories and my heart was really broken for these people. I know there are many places in the world like Lasnamäe, where the harvest is great and the workers are few. I sense the Holy Spirit stirring in me about this mission field. We want to do everything possible to help and encourage this couple and do what we can in building the Kingdom of God in Lasnamäe.

Raili and I believe we can be more effective living in the Tallinn area. Our home in Viljandi is 160 kilometers from Tallinn. The cost of living is higher there, though God can make a way. I do believe that this is a new season of growth and change for us as we move forward in building God's Kingdom.
I believe that partnership is God's highest way to spread the gospel. The famous verse in Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Was written to the partners of the apostle Paul. If there ever was a season to bring in the harvest it is the hour in witch we live. Raili and I would like you to consider partnering
with us to accomplish this important gospel work. We also want you to receive the
blessing that comes through partnership. I believe we can have a significant impact in
Lasnama and all the other ministry projects.

VALUE Of A
SOUL
What does it matter
to the Lord of us all
Creator of heaven
and earth
When He looks down
at one made in His own image
Greater than the
sparrow that falls
He sees the value
of a soul beyond the worlds treasures
Measured by the
blood Jesus shed
Though it be
wrecked and marred
There is healing by
His scars
He showed us the
value of a soul
If you think your
life doesn't mean much any more
Just think what you
mean to the Lord
If you were the
only one, He would have still died for you
You were worth all
that He went through
For you are a pearl
of great price
That He sought
after and bought with His life
Yes you are
precious in His sight
See the love that He has shown to
you

Chasing The Sunset
This winter in Estonia has been extremely cold, as it usually is. Living on this northern latitude you just don’t get a lot of daylight this time of year, but when the sun does show itself it can be glorious.
My little boy Ryan is a active guy to say the least, however he does mellow when we take a drive. So one evening on a little auto trip as we like to call it, the sun began to set in a splendorous silhouette. Sensing the opportunity to be spontaneous we began to drive west in pursuit of this beauty.
I regret not having my camera to capture that exquisite sunset with the shades of amber and orange textured on the backdrop of the vivid horizon. The creator's brush had truly painted a masterpiece.
What sheer joy it was to just take it in and revel for a few moments in the glory of God. We were chasing the sunset and at that moment I don’t believe we could be doing anything better. I wish I could say I am always this spontaneous when given such golden opportunity. It does make me want to take advantage more of soaking in the blessings and beauty of life.
It is easy to go through the normal and ordinary patterns of life and to miss out on the extraordinary.
This brings to mind a great line from a classic hymn “When I survey The Wondrous Cross On which the prince of Glory died.” There in that one short line is a treasure so full of beauty and truth that it will take eternity to comprehend. What a privilege it is to absorb the reality of God's grace and be transformed in it's light.
The scripture tells us we can be washed in the water of the word (Ephesians 5:26 ). We can be saturated with the truth of God taking it in one gem at a time. As we appreciate the ultimate masterpiece “The Lamb Of God”, this glorious reality of God's goodness and grace can be painted more vividly in our hearts. My challenge is let not a day go by that we don't chase those beautiful sunsets that are there for us to behold.

2012 Ministry Goal's
These our some goals we our working toward accomplishing this year!
Joyce
One thing Raili is very involved with is translating and doing the voice over for the Estonian version of Joyce Meyer's daily television program Enjoying Everyday Life. It is a big time consuming job. We are getting some good feedback from people here in Estonia being blessed by the the program. The goal here is to sustain this important work. Joyce has some great teaching that the people need I believe this is probably some of the best christian media content now in the Estonian language. Prayer point would be for Raili to have the strength to continue the translating, voice over, and editing.
Essential Truth
I am very excited about sharing life giving truth from God's Word thru the "Essential Truth" internet project. I have some talented Estonian web developers who are working with me to bring biblical truth to the net in a fresh, creative way. The teaching will be in English and Estonian on a blog and Facebook page. Eventually we will have music videos and a dedicated web page with all kinda good stuff. Prayer Point that we would be effective in communicating the Word and especially with young people.

Put The Word First
Our Daily Bread
I can't think of any thing in life that is more important than our priorities. If we want to live under the Lordship of Christ, our priories must be in order. When we understand what the Word Of God is, it should revolutionize the way we approach and apply it to our life. In the gospel of John we find this life changing truth.
John chapter 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
We learn from these scriptures that Jesus and the Word are one. The Bible is not just a book of rules and religious stuff but a living book that brings the reality of the living God to your life. When we grasp this truth, it brings us to a decision to put the Word first place in our life. We can not have Jesus number one without the Word being first place. Because Jesus and the Word are one and the same.
Jesus taught us that He is the Bread Of Heaven he nourishes us. The main way this happens is receiving our "daily bread".
Our Lord revealed to us a pattern for prayer in Luke 11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread. When Jesus was tempted by satan in the wilderness Jesus responded to the enemy’s temptation of turning a rock into bread by declaring this truth. Matthew4: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. These two truths reveal a essential message to us for experiencing the life of God. We need to partake of our daily bread Christ, The Living Bread, who is the Word Of God. The Holy Spirit will minister the Living Word to our life’s as we spend time in the Word each day.
It takes time.
Though time with the Lord is time well spent. Fellowship with God is our highest purpose. We grow in intamacy with the Lord during those precious times we spend with Him in prayer and in His Word. The Father wants to share his heart with us and reveal His Goodness to us. His provision for all mankind has already been made available to us through Christ. And we get to know and experience all of this as we receive His Word.

Encouragement For Pastors
I was doing a study today on and came across something worth sharing. I have discovered a wonderful resource for unearthing treasures from the Word.It is the commentary section of biblos.com . Some of the insights shared through these commentaries have been enlightening and refreshing. This came from Clarkes Commentary Of The Bible -
When weighing the temporal faced in ministry with eternal glory and reward we need to take heed to this verse.
When the chief Shepherd - That is, the Lord Jesus Christ, whose is the flock, and who provides the pasture, and from whom, if ye are legally called to the most awful work of preaching the Gospel, ye have received your commission; when he shall appear to judge the world in righteousness, ye who have fed his flock, who have taken the superintendency of it, not by constraint, nor for filthy lucre's sake, not as lords over the heritage, but with a ready mind, employing body, soul, spirit, time and talents, in endeavoring to pluck sinners as brands from eternal burnings, and build up the Church of Christ on its most holy faith; Ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away, an eternal nearness and intimacy with the ineffably glorious God; so that ye who have turned many to righteousness shall shine, not merely as stars, but as suns in the kingdom of your Father! O ye heavenly-minded, diligent, self-denying pastors after God's own heart, whether ye be in the Church established by the state, or in those divisions widely separated from, or nearly connected with it, take courage; preach Jesus; press through all difficulties in the faith of your God; fear no evil while meditating nothing but good. Ye are stars in the right hand of Jesus, who walks among your golden candlesticks, and has lighted that lamp of life which ye are appointed to trim; fear not, your labor in the Lord cannot be in vain! Never, never can ye preach one sermon in the spirit of your office, which the God of all grace shall permit to be unfruitful; ye carry and sow the seed of the kingdom by the command and on the authority of your God; ye sow it, and the heavens shall drop down dew upon it. Ye may go forth weeping, though bearing this precious seed; but ye shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing your sheaves with you. Amen, even so, Lord Jesus!
When weighing the temporal faced in ministry with eternal glory and reward we need to take heed to this verse.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
May God contiue to grant you His wonderful grace in your calling!
In Christ Jesus,
Kris Robbie

Crown Him With Many Crowns
I can't even remember how many times going back to a old hymn ministered to me. It happened again this morning. After taking my little boy to kinder garden in below 0 Estonian winter weather I needed a little warming up. And my heart was warmed by experiencing afresh a great old hymn of the Church.
Crown Him has that majestic quality that makes you feel like your in a beautiful cathedral worshiping our awesome God. There is a depth in the great hymns that make them timeless. The nuggets of truth in this classic song were definitely resonating in my heart today. The central truths of the Gospel our so profound though easy to become so familiar they lose their significance. " His glories now we sing, Who died and rose on high, Who died eternal life to bring and lives that death may die" What a privilege it is to rejoice in God our saviour. So let us keep singing songs that endear us to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
1. Crown him with many crowns,
the Lamb upon his throne,
Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns
all music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing
of him who died for thee,
and hail him as thy matchless King
through all eternity.
2. Crown him the Lord of life,
who triumphed o'er the grave,
and rose victorious in the strife
for those he came to save.
His glories now we sing,
who died, and rose on high,
who died, eternal life to bring,
and lives that death may die.
3. Crown him the Lord of peace,
whose power a scepter sways
from pole to pole, that wars may cease,
and all be prayer and praise.
His reign shall know no end,
and round his pierced feet
fair flowers of paradise extend
their fragrance ever sweet.
4. Crown him the Lord of love;
behold his hands and side,
those wounds, yet visible above,
in beauty glorified.
All hail, Redeemer, hail!
For thou hast died for me;
thy praise and glory shall not fail
throughout eternity.
