Little bit about us!

Hello,
Our names are Kris and Raili Robbie.
Raili is from the country of Estonia and Kris is from Nashville TN.
We met in 1994 during Kris's first missions trip to Estonia as Raili was his translator. We were married in 1995 at Victory Fellowship Church in  Nashville. Our pastor is Bill McRay. We have been attending VFC since then. We have 2 sons, Aaron 12 and Ryan 3.
Our ministry to Estonia began in 1996. For the first few years we were doing a lot of small group meetings at homes, leading worship and teaching the Word of God.
Big part of our ministry has been recording Christian music in Estonian language. We have produced 3 projects so far. Also we had our own Radio Program, called "New Song"  on Family Radio network in Estonia. We did it for 10 years.
In 2004 The Lord placed in our hearts to move to Estonia to start a church in the city of Viljandi. We moved there without knowing anybody. We started a church there and were able to do many other things in that city.
Among other things, we were involved with city-wide evangelistic meetings, called Gospel Services. Kris had opportunity to preach and sing at those meetings. We produced a TV program of one of those services, it was aired on Life TV, Estonian Christian TV station. They are still playing the program every year during the Christmas season.
Here is a link to some of the recordings of that program.

We really would like to produce more of the Christian TV programs in Estonia.
In 2008 we moved back to Nashville. Kris's 85 yrs old mom's health has been declining and we felt in our hearts we needed to be close to her. We still are helping to take care of her. She is in stable condition, but needs daily assistance.
In summer of 2010 we took a short term missions trip back to Estonia and stayed there for 3 months. The Lord gave us many opportunities to minister and encourage God's people there. We preached at 7 churches and held a weekly prayer meeting, also helping at another church.  We saw that we still have ministry there in Estonia and desire to fulfill the calling God has placed on our hearts.
Kris is in a process of recording his new music project , called "Latter rain". It takes about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last days.
here is a link to one of his songs he recorded in Estonia last tummer with an Estonian singer Annika Mai Purje.

We also have Europe in our hearts.
It is easy to go from Estonia to different parts of Europe. We would like to minister in surrounding countires, like Finland, Norway, Latvia, Russia and England.

God bless you all!

Rosie

We would like to share with you about Raili's niece Rosie. She is very special young lady who has had a very difficult life. Rosangelica (that is her real name) has lived in an abusive family situation all of her life.
Raili's brother is currently in prison for abusing her. He was violent alcoholic and made his family's life like a hell. Thankfully God has touched his life in prison and he accepted Jesus. He is attending the Christian services in the prison now and even helping with the worship.
Rosie's mom is also an alcoholic  and is currently living with another violent boyfriend. When they get drunk, her mom's boyfriend would  beat Rosie's mom and she has to defend her mom, getting in the middle of it. This boyfriend has threatened to kill her mom in front of her daughter and has done other crazy things. When she is at home, she never has a peaceful day, she never knows what might happen. She lives in constant fear.
Rosie was living with us during this summer. We saw the Lord do some great things in her life! She is very hungry for God. She had a wonderful experience in a Christian Youth camp last summer and was totally changed after coming back from there.
The sad thing was sending her back home to her mom and her boyfriend, who are drinking and parting all the time.
She has been in our hearts since we left Estonia and want to have her as part of our family.
The social worker from Estonia contacted me last week. The school psychologist found out that Rosie has been cutting herself...Rosie said she did it because she was worried about her mom.
Her mom recently collapsed and had a stroke. Now she has difficulty speaking. But at the same time she and her boyfriend keep drinking. Her mom is not able to take care of her.
Also just recently Rosie had a note on her MSN messenger, that she was going to kill herself.
The social worker took Rosie to a Psychiatric Hospital today and she was admitted.
She may have to stay there until I can go and get her.
We would like to get her out of that situation as soon as possible!
The social worker in Estonia thinks it is a good idea that she would come to live with us in America. As you can imagine, there is a lot of "red tape". We can get custody of her in Estonia. (I need to go Estonia for that, to go to court)
We believe in the future we can adopt her, though that may take some time as the paperwork do.
Meanwhile we could get her out of that situation and get her to come an stay with us as a guest for a while. Then we could take some steps later for adopting her.
As you can imagine, there are legal costs and travelling costs, that we cannot afford by ourselves.
Please keep us in prayer!
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!
We believe God has a solution in this situation!
Kris and Raili
